WELCOME SARAH MIROWSKI

Valentine interiors + design welcomes Sarah Mirowski to our design team.

Sarah has studied graphic design at University, graduating with a degree in Human Resource Management and Marketing. Her recent interior design studies, along with a commercial background in fashion, store layout and visual merchandising makes her a fabulous addition to our team.

On a personal note, Sarah has recently built her own home with husband Alex, has six year old twins, loves art and pilates.

We are delighted to have Sarah join us and looking forward to working on new projects.

 

DESIGN POSITION AVAILABLE

Valentine interiors + design is an innovative, award-winning design studio in Hobart, Tasmania. We specialise in residential and commercial interiors, along with company branding.

We are known for being meticulous, extremely passionate about design and having high standards with client service. It is time for us to grow and we are looking to include an interior designer as part of our team.
  

Overview and qualifications:

  • Part time position (hours negotiable & salary determined by experience).
  • Applicant must hold an interior or graphic design related degree (or equivalent skills and experience).
  • Applicant must be reliable, committed and willing to push the boundaries for an innovative solution.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite would be highly desirable.


Work scope:

  • Designing residential and commercial interiors, including concept development, design and documentation. 
  • Specification of furnishings, colour schemes and styling.
  • Assisting with social media and website updates.
  • Establishing new client relationships.
  • Work involves individual and team projects.

A gym with a difference

The Personal Best Fitness project was a fabulous one to work on. The end result has transformed the gym into an inspiring place to work out in. Personal Best Fitness is based in North Hobart, Tasmania. 

Using our graphic and interior design skills we have integrated abstract motifs, muscle fibres and a dynamic colour scheme for Personal Best Fitness. An exciting and contemporary refurbishment reflecting the gym as progressive, fun and unique.

Our bold colour palette, along with a sense of style and fun weaves its way through each room. Imagery suggestive of curves, bends, lifts, steps, weights, bike wheels spinning and fibres stretching all surprise and delight the viewer from every angle. We have even included a circular chalk board in black for daily gym detail and celebrations.

Our contrasting design for the consulting rooms reflects a sense of calm, ensuring each client feels comfortable in their surrounds.
